Topps 2000

The 50th set of the decade, and the last of the millinia, this may well be where card collecting jumped the shark.  Mark McGwire and Sammy Sosa had just gone on a steroid fueled rampage that nearly racked up as many home runs as Jackie Robinson hit in his entire career.  A couple years later, few would notice as Barry Bonds broke baseball's longest standing record yet again.  Now that it turns out that Alex Rodriguez was on the juice as well (which means Ken Griffey Junior probably was too), who cares anymore.  Perhaps they should take the balls out of the humidor in Colorado, or perhaps other parks should start to have theirs freeze dried.

Whatever.

I'm just 25 cards short of completing this 719 card set.  Where do you stand with the Topps set for Y2K?
